CR14 Ergonomics & Aerodynamics
The Ergonomics subgroup this year has also had an overhaul, with the intention of making the car easier to drive. As a result, the team has switched to a two pedal system, allowing the driver to left foot brake. Consequently, a paddle based clutch and gear shifting mechanism has been adopted to compensate for the lack of clutch pedal.
Furthermore, for the first time in City Racing’s history, the team now has two Aeronautical Engineering students on the team. As a result, both front and rear aerofoils have been designed with the intention of integrating them into the CR14.
